FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION STAFF ASSOCIATE
University Auxiliary Services at Albany, Inc. (UAS) is seeking a full time Finance and Administration Staff Associate.
This position assists the Senior Director of Finance and Business Administration. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to auditing and coding cash receipts and disbursements, inputting accounts payable vouchers, entering and maintaining employee records in the payroll system, running necessary payroll-related reports, preparing, distributing and/or filing annual regulatory documents and other administrative and project support functions as assigned.
Candidates must have at least an Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, and a minimum of two years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting services. Relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Preferred qualifications include: bachelor’s degree, notary public, MAS 90, Paylocity, data base and/or customer
service. In addition, the applicant must be able to work individually and as a member of a team, possess strong communication and troubleshooting skills, have the ability to interact with a diverse population, and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
