Joining TradeNet Publishing's family means representing an award-winning manufacturing and printing company in the Promotional Products and Wholesale Printing industry. The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer is to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, facilities and utility systems of a print manufacturing plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Fabricate, repair or modify machines, tools or equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Requisition tools, equipment and supplies required for operation.
- Confer with management and production personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
- Ensure knowledge and compliance of safety practices and proper use of equipment.
- Assists in overseeing company safety programs.
- Directly supervise, assess and develop Maintenance Department personnel in accordance with the organization's policies.
- Successfully interview, hire and train employees.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Maintenance experience in a printing or other assembly facility or engineering degree preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of preventative maintenance processes.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to mechanical problems and to effectively assess cost and evaluate financial and operational alternatives.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electronics and PLC's.
