Production Manager/Estimator/Job Planner

Job Purpose:

Liaison between Account Management and Manufacturing/Fulfillment. This person must have excellent production management skills as well as high level knowledge of the manufacturing processes, costing and sourcing of raw materials and outside trade work.

Full Time Position

Duties:

• Help Account Executives define and clarify project specifications for successful completion of the client’s project.
• Estimate cost of project based off provided specification including time and materials needed.
• Develop timelines and production plan. Balancing client needs and the current manufacturing schedule.
• Create manufacturing job ticket/plan for the successful completion of the project and approve any press layouts as needed.
• Daily status tracking of all projects assigned to this individual and communication of that information back to Account Executives
• Review actual job cost after manufacturing is completed to identify inconsistencies with plan.
• All other duties as assigned by Production Management Supervisor

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts Management preferred or equivalent work experience.  Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen. Must have 3 to 4 years of working knowledge of printing industry. Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office functions (Word, Excel and Outlook).
