Do you thrive working in the fast-paced, exciting world of advertising sales? If Yes, then consider The Florida Times-Union. We are looking for qualified Multi-Media Consultants to join our team. Consultants should be eager to exceed monthly objectives by developing existing relationships and driving new business. Daily prospecting is required. Consultants manage accounts by working with customers to develop solutions and strategies to match their advertising needs. Solutions for our advertisers include using a variety of the vehicles available here at Times-Union Media including our traditional printed products, and many other media promotions and platforms. No day is ever the same. Commissions are determined by the results produced.
Qualifications (preferred):
• College degree preferred. High school graduate/GED required.
• Three years of B2B/outside sales experience required.
• Possess strong needs analysis and strategic thinking skills.
• Superior communication (written, oral and listening), presentation and customer service skills required.
• Must have strong overall knowledge of advertising and marketing concepts.
• Must be detailed and deadline oriented.
• Excellent conflict resolution and organizational skills required.
• Proficient in computer software programs such as G Suite is required.
• Must have reliable transportation; possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
