Provide individual, group and family counseling, primarily in the outpatient setting, and will teach students and residents the theory and practice of behavioral medicine in didactic and clinical settings. Requires doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-approved clinical program, or in Family Therapy. Ability w/teaching in clinical & didactic settings. Licensed to practice as independent practitioner in their discipline in Kansas. 1 yr. exp. in counseling, in outpatient settings, with mastery of an array of different counseling styles & therapeutic modalities, incl. basic family systems skills, ability to counsel and conduct therapy w/individuals, couples, families, & in groups. Familiarity & exp. w/discipline of family medicine & application of behavioral science principles, family systems, and biopsychosocial model. Research exp. & publications demonstrating ability to conduct scholarship & model an academic approach to comprehensive health care are a plus.
