We are looking for a qualified Media Sales Consultant who will work obtaining individual revenue goals by servicing existing customers and developing new business relationships. Daily prospecting is required. The Sales Consultant manages accounts by working with local businesses to develop solutions and strategies to grow and promote their business using our audience. Products from our robust portfolio include traditional print media such as The St. Augustine Record daily newspaper and other monthly news letters, digital media solutions including our website, StAugustine.com, and many advanced methods for audience targeting. Other web services in our sales portfolio include websites, email marketing, SEO, SEM, text, social media marketing and more. No day is ever the same!
Qualifications:
- High school graduate/GED required.College degree preferred
- Two years of B2B/outside sales experience preferred
- Digital media and/or print advertising sales experience helpful
- Excellent knowledge of digital sales terminology
- Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills required
- Must be detailed and deadline oriented
- Excellent knowledge of digital sales terminology
- Excellent closing skills
- Must have excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to interact positively with other people from all levels
- Proficient in computer software programs such as G Suite, Excel and Word
- Must have reliable transportation; possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance
