The job:
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined person possessing outstanding communication skills. Duties include, but are not limited to, customer care on existing accounts, follow-up, closing orders, quote generation and order entry.
- Generate quotes and enter sales orders
- Follow production of equipment sold
- Interface daily with customers and co-workers
- Sell parts to support equipment sales
- Strong verbal communication skills are required
- Mechanical aptitude is necessary
- Electrical aptitude a plus.
Requirements:
The ideal sales representative will possess a technical mind and sales personality! Preferably, have 1 to 3 years sales experience in industrial machinery sales
Candidate must be a self-starter, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently, like travel, and work well under pressure and handle rejection.
Education:
Applicants with two years of college/technical sales background are encouraged to apply.
Experience:
Industrial machinery experience is desired, including background and knowledge of electrical and mechanical components. The qualified candidate will be able to display a professional business image, an outgoing personality and a positive attitude. Salary is dependent upon experience and background.
