We seek to fill the Activities Provider Director position to work at 741 N. Nelson Rd., Olathe, KS 66061.
 Job description:
Design & supervise a physical & mental activity program in a care facility setting for elderly people and/or those w/ disabilities. May need to assist w/ lite housekeeping. Participate & observe residents are correctly & safely doing physical & mental activities. Interact w/ residents for mental exercise, such as asking questions about their past or about historical events for the purpose of advancing mental acuity. Encourage & motivate residents to engage in activity programming. Observe residents & report any problems. Must be creative & positive to promote residents’ wellness. Supervise work of the Activities Provider Assistants as they implement the activities program. Position requires 24 months experience working w/ elderly in a memory care facility, or working with patients in a health care facility who need help w/ daily living. Position requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or related health care field.
