Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort, 39 Beach Lagoon Rd, Amelia Island, FL 32034 (904) 261-6161 30 temp FT Rm Attendants 2/1/20 - 11/1/20 Amelia Island, FL. 3 mo Hotel/Resort Room Attendant/Inspector exp reqd. No min edu. OJT prvded. Maintain hotel/resort in clean/orderly manner, clean guest rms, conf facilities, halls, & public area spaces. Remove/sort/fold/carry & replace linens; make beds, replenish supplies. Set up guest rm/meeting rm furniture, pictures & amenities according to resort standards. Dust, mop, vacuum, extract/shampoo carpets, clean bathrms, clean/polish mirrors & windows, dispose of refuse. May inspect rms for cleanliness. Min 35 hrs/wk up to poss 40 hrs/wk. Open 7 days wk. Multi 8-hr shifts b/w 8a-11p; 30-min unpd break. Hrs/shifts vary w/occ. $11.13/hr. OT may be avail, but not guar. Tips poss, but not guar. OT $16.70/hr. Increased wage/addl pay poss w/ exp, perfrmnc, tenure. Single wrkwk used to compute wages. Bi-wkly pay. Emplyr will make all deductions from paychk reqd by law and deduct apprvd cost of housing if wrker elects. Opt emplyee only shared housing, approx cost $200.00 per/wk plus $300 refundable dep. Transp prvded b/w emplyrs housing & wrksite @ approx cost of $30 per/wk. Emplyr will provide wrker at no charge all tools, supplies, equip & uniform reqd to perform job. One opt meal avail during shift @ approx $3.00 during lunch & dinner. Emplyr guar to offer work for hrs equal to at least 3/4 of the wrkday in each 12-wk period of the total emplymt period. Transp (incl meals, lodging if nec) to place of emplymt prvded if wrkr completes half the emplymt period. Rtrn transp prvded if wrkr completes emplymt period or dismissed early. Wrkr reimb relevant visa/border fees in 1st wrkwk & apprvd trvl expns in 1st pay period. Rcpts reqd. Must be able to pull & push hskping cart loaded w/ supplies. Must be able to walk/stand/bend/squat for long periods of time. 5-day sched, incl wkends & holidays as reqd. Emplymt app reqd. Pre-emplymt crim bkgrd chk reqd; cost pd by emplyr.
