- Project management by gathering data, review, monitoring and creating recommendations
- Ability to integrate business issues and data challenges
- Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solution
- Develops functional and system design specifications for inclusion in PMO documentation
- Ensures project quality, timelines and completion are successful using best practice project standards
- Defines business issues in relationship to data challenges. Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for inclusion in PMO documentation.
Project Execution
- Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. Takes input from manager and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback. Communicates and applies project standards. Ensures issues are identified, tracked, evaluated, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Manages resources in accordance with project schedules to deliver a high-quality, fiscally successful service.
Leadership
- Assists in the facilitation of team and customer meetings, makes presentations as needed. Manages the processes of change facilitating team actions and interactions. Trains other innovators through both formal and informal training programs. Develops strong customer relationships and satisfaction by communicating effectively with customers while identify needs and evaluating alternative business solutions.
Training
- Maintains and educates on established PMO methodology and processes. Serves as a resource to staff/Participates in department orientation process.
Reporting
- Supports status reporting process by assisting in development of various reports and development of meeting materials.
- Manages budget/resources
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related field preferred ( Prefer a Bachelor's in Computer Information Technology or Management Information Systems) ; Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience; required
- Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; required
- Detailed oriented; required
- Working knowledge of MS Projects; required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; required
- Knowledgeable of IT terminology; required
