Core Values: Accountability; Data-Driven Decision-Making; Diversity & Inclusion; Empowerment; Excellence; Growth; Honesty, Integrity, & Transparency; Innovation; Respect Culture: The Moore Norman Way staying above the line Job Objective: Performs advanced clerical and informational duties for weekend coverage; uses word processing to produce a variety of standard documents and correspondence, assists customers and students with routine telephone and/or in-person inquiries, schedules calendar items and meetings, processes forms, and establishes and maintains records. Edits and proofreads documents to ensure accuracy. An incumbent in this position will follow generally standardized operating policies and procedures and interpret policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School diploma, degree preferred Special Knowledge, Skill, or Ability: * Excellent organizational skills * Knowledge of audio-visual equipment, laptop set-up, and ability to troubleshoot any basic issues * Possess strong organizational skills * Reliable, dependable, and punctual * Effective verbal, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Self-motivated, promoting productivity and efficiency * Exceptional customer service skills goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Strengthens relationships by developing students and clients and staff, partnering with businesses and schools and collaborating with community leaders through participating in school or community activities. 2. Focuses on being a leader within the organization through personal accountability, active problem solving and positive forward thinking. 3. Focuses on continual improvement to assure quality products and excellent services to our customers and stakeholders. 4. Greets adjuncts/clients prior to beginning of class or event:
a. Unlocks room and necessary cabinets
b. Verifies equipment and supplies are present (informs developer if any issues)
c. Assists adjuncts with last minute needs (copying handouts, etc.)
d. Provides Adjuncts with a number to call to reach you in case of emergency
5. Responsible for daily tasks as assigned:
a. Carries cell phone, master keys and class schedule with you at all times
b. Gives room directions
c. Assists students and event attendees with any questions or concerns
d. Checks in with all adjuncts and/or conferencing clients throughout shift
e. Pulls books and supplies for startups when needed
f. Checks email for updates on weather, campus closures, etc.
g. Prints rosters from CT-SIS
h. Enters events on ITD Grid in CT-SIS as Facility Usage and code as PT:75. Enroll as students when rosters are collected.
i. Contacts enrolled students when needed.
j. Answers questions about location, accessibility, etc.
k. Creates completion certificates when needed
l. Assists developers and adjuncts with copying handouts
m. Assists with maintaining inventory in bookroom
n. Assists with certified mail items/mailing books for online classes
o. Assists developers with calling students to distribute online books
p. Builds purple class folders
q. Builds student class folders
r. Prepares printed records for scanning and storage
s. Makes note of any facility issues (indoor/outdoor, excessive trash, safety concerns or anything that needs attention) and submits a work order
t. Notifies Developer or Director of any issues related to staff, students, clients, or visitors
6. Responsible for duties at end of classes:
a. Makes sure all projectors are off
b. Returns AV equipment to workroom
c. Makes sure laptop cabinets are locked
d. Picks up purple class folders and place them in developer's mailbox, interoffice to developer if necessary
e. Locks all doors before leaving campus
7. Other duties as assigned.
