UTILITY REGULATORY MANAGER
The Missouri Public Service Commission is seeking to fill a Utility Regulatory Manager position in the Financial Analysis Department in our Jefferson City office.
The Financial Analysis Manager should have experience and expertise in areas such as monitoring of financial data of regulated investor-owned utilities; recommending action on public utility financing applications; and determining the cost of capital of regulated public utilities. The manager will manage and supervise Staff’s participation in various filings and cases before the Commission and must have the ability to make crucial recommendations and decisions related to rules, regulations, and Staff positions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Four years professional experience at the Commission in areas such as auditing and accounting, financial analysis, management analysis, or rate-making issues; and graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or closely related field. Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Rate of Return Analyst or comparable designation preferred, but not required. (Graduate work in the specified areas may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for a maximum of two years of the stated experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for deficiencies in the stated education.)
Annual salary range is $59,596.00 - $76,549.82.
