Kansas City Extension Office
Responsibilities:
Answer telephone calls, take messages
Serve as receptionist to greet visitors
Maintain filing and record keeping systems
Prepare correspondence and memorandum for state specialists
Manage inventory of office supplies and public education materials
Prepare check requests, travel vouchers, and requisitions
Type documents necessary for program management
Operate office equipment
Maintain calendar and schedule appointments
Record minutes from meetings
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Business school training or equivalent
At least two years of clerical experience, preferably in a university setting
