Research Project Specialist (Part-time)
The Transition Coalition at the University of Kansas, Life Span Institute creates, implements, and conducts research on professional development initiatives for secondary special educators. This position will support on all activities, in particular data collection and organization, assisting in preparation of professional development initiatives, writing for multiple audiences and medium, supporting evaluation methods, and maintaining/updating project materials using a variety of software and web application as well as provide some clerical support. The ideal candidate will be highly reliable, write competently for multiple purposes/audiences, detail-oriented, and be adept at problem-solving. This position is contingent upon funding, with possibility of increasing FTE.
This position is onsite to start with and a hybrid schedule is possible after initial training is completed.
Work Schedule: Regular schedule of 24 hrs/week will be determined during M-F, 8 am-5 pm
