Residential Mortgage Systems/Project Manager

to join our team as a Residential Mortgage Systems/Project Manager. This position is great for someone who has expertise working
with mortgage software applications, takes initiative, and has good communication skills. You should be committed to maintaining
up-to-date and wide-ranging knowledge of current and emerging mortgage products and services, particularly electronic products and
delivery channels. This role coordinates across a variety of teams including Compliance, Marketing and Mortgage Operations.
You will be challenged to offer financial and/or perceived value to our mortgage prospects and applicants, expand and strengthen client
relationships, enhance the client experience, and support exceptional service to our client and your team members. You will also work
to increase the sales capabilities of mortgage loan originators and provide a competitive advantage against competitors.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS • Work closely with our leadership team and end-users to develop product strategies
• Optimize company systems and workflow to maximize efficiency and end-user experience. Including, providing recommendations
for process-flow improvements.
• Perform market research and discovery of new and better mortgage technology and tools for efficiency
• Facilitate company training of current technology systems for residential lending
• Maintain users, roles, profiles, security settings, and loan setup settings
• Create and maintain business rules, including advanced coding, as necessary
• Employ problem-solving abilities to understand, interpret, troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to system functionality
• Manage vendor partner relationships
• Ensure proposed solutions work as desired through system analysis
• Administering Encompass and other core company system of the residential lending team
• Manage and deploy Encompass and other system release notes and work with the leadership team to make any needed system or
process-flow changes
• Manage Encompass enhancements through testing of new functionality, deployment to a production environment and
communication to end-users
• Assist leadership team with maintaining updated training modules
• Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• High School degree or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
• Minimum of three years Encompass administration or relatable experience
• Minimum of one-year project management or relatable experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Strong and diverse knowledge of the residential mortgage industry, preferably concentrated in the processing and closing cycle, of
at least five years
• Possess the ability to be an innovative thinker
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for efficiency
