We are seeking a full-time Senior Financial Controller, who will collaborate closely with the CFO to execute the company's financial and accounting strategies.
Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborates in establishment of budgets and forecasts. Analyzes financial data and monitors action plans to ensure the attainment of business results and financial goals.
- Serves as a strategic contributor to organizational decision-making teams examining fiscal, product/service lines, operations, human capital, and technological areas of the business. Evaluates critical activities in terms of value-added, impact, and utility derived from a cost-benefit analysis.
- Contributes to high-performing teams that accomplish organizational changes, initiatives, and priorities. Listens to, leverages, and promotes diverse ideas, perspectives, and the contributions of others across the business.
- Identifies and suggests ways to manage risk, opportunities, and gaps in the business strategy. Works through different strategic options and determines the intended and unintended implications, and applies them to business planning processes.
- Maintains expert knowledge and ability to interpret data, evidence-based research, benchmarks and business metrics to contribute to effective and critical decisions. Communicates the impact of relevant and important findings from data analysis on organizational strategy.
- Acts as a Core Values ambassador for the Accounting Department. Displays and commands excellent representation of BLI's values to the Accounting staff in serving our customers and co-workers.

Experience & Qualifications:
- University degree in accounting or finance, with a thorough understanding of accounting theories.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- 7+ years related accounting/tax experience.
- Strong proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks.
