Will be responsible for the dev of elec, cntrls and mechatronic cmpts and sys for app in the Kalmar terminal tractor (TT) product line, incl supporting the integration of Kalmar automation sys into the Kalmar TT product line as well as helping to create, manage, and maintain vehicle cntrl sys arch to work with automation cntrl syst. Telecommuting benefit available but must reside within one hr commuting distance of Kalmar Solutions’ Ottawa, KS, ofc. Requires ltd (<10%) domestic and intl trav to cust sites. Req: Bachelor’s in Elec., Electr., Mech., Cntrls, or Cmptr. Engrg, plus 3 yrs exp the design, dev, and testing of electrical, cntrls, or mechatronic cmpts or sys for truck-tractor or heavy-duty mobile eqpt or vehicles, which also inclds exp with vehicle or eqpt electr cntrl unit data acquisition and analysis through sim tech, such as Matlab Simulink or dSpace, for cmpt or sys functionality or performance analysis.
