JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing the delivery of H&R Block business applications as well as managing ongoing deployments of business applications and collaborating on medium- and long-term IT multi-integration projects. Initiating, planning, executing and controlling projects involving multiple people, processes and technology components. Lead integration projects to deliver customer tax return flows to production. Manage 10+ IT teams to integrate the user flow from an external software into the various HR Block tax flows across multiple tax platforms. Work with the Program team and integrated IT teams to identify risks, blockers and issues and determine solutions to help deliver on time and on budget. Provide constant clear communication and coordinate all teams to understand their roles, workload, dependencies, and deadlines for delivery. Lead the delivery of a pilot software for the redesign of the HR Block clients online experience. Liaise with the Product team and IT teams to define, build and deliver a pilot for our users online experience. Work with the Product owners, UX, Dev (onshore and offshore) and Program team to understand the requirements, gain buy in for the program, communicate the workload and duties to the IT team and facilitate the delivery of the pilot. Define new process and procedures for the feature team, help on-board the new offshore and onshore resources and plan, execute and deliver in an agile manner. Perform scrum master duties to define and groom new user stories based on the UX designs and continue to facilitate the dev team to deliver the requirements on time and as documented. Manage the roll out of an internal solution for H&R Block tax professionals to work from anywhere. Manage the setup and rollout of software pods, create and update documentation for tax pros and the help center to troubleshoot issues. Coordinate the creation, testing and deployment of the builds and work with the help center. Train their team for troubleshooting and support to reduce escalations. Manage the ongoing deployments for Blockworks Work from Anywhere and Practice in the Cloud software to production, including working with the integrated teams to prep/task and deploy the builds seamlessly through tax season. Lead the project to migrate and automate the BlockWorks deployment process through FiDo. Work with the Build, Infrastructure, Dev and QA teams to automate the build process and deploy through Fido to all production offices for current and prior year BlockWorks builds. Drive multiple Dev Ops process and practices, defining and rolling out to IT and Product teams cross functionally.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
Three years of business analysis experience in a tax preparation environment to include:
End-to-end Project Management (E2E PM) for the software development life cycle (SDLC);
Prepare process and data models;
Coordinate pilots, test activities and report findings;
SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects;
Agile ceremonies and planning to facilitate Agile delivery;
Agile management (HP ALM or Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)) and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business); and
Silverlight UI framework.
One year of which must include:
Backend configuration and security of Azure DevOps;
DevOps CI/CD methodologies and transformation to a DevOps model;
MS Visio;
Roadmap software (Aha!);
Project collaboration tools (Miro boards);
Migrate and train teams on new software/processes; and
Manage multiple projects and programs.
