Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

Work closely with senior, lead or principal software engineers on project plan preparation, estimation, testing strategy, test plan, test execution approach, and progress monitoring mechanism to build and deploy microapps to Azure. Create and execute unit tests and work on real time production issues by resolving cases through Salesforce queues. Responsible for defect reporting and bug tracking and fixes. Assist in developing standardized test plans and consistent testing automation. Participate in technical design and code reviews for all new enhancements and maintenance work delivered. Responsible for informing, enabling, and reporting on project process performance. Deliver QA testing reports that determine product quality and release readiness.  

QUALIFICATIONS                                                   

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.

Four years of software development and testing experience to include:

• App development in HTML, CSS, Angular and .Net framework.
• Write test plans, test cases and test scenarios in HPALM, ZIRA, and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Generate automated test scripts using Visual Studio.
• API Services and Automation scripts.
• Utilize Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, MTA Framework, Maven and Jenkins for web and mobile automation testing.
• Defect reporting and bug tracking with HPALM and Azure DevOps.
• Page Object Model (POM), UI Mapping, Selenium Manager, Data Driven using CSV and CSS Selectors.
• Web services testing using Postman, SOAP UI, Restful (JSON), and Swagger Hub in Java.
• Master Data Management (MDM) by writing SQL queries, and data retrieval using MongoDB.
• Report generation using Power BI.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus four years of experience, a Master's degree plus two years of experience is acceptable.
