Foundation Repair Laborer (Full or Part-time)

Job Title:  Foundation Repair Laborer (Full or Part-time)

Education:  High School Diploma

Hours:  7:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday – Friday (year-round work)

Salary Range:  Based on previous experience, although no experience necessary, $17.00 - $20.00 hourly

Job Requirements:  Valid Driver’s License, English Communication Skills

Job Description: 

- Operate power tools

- Drive pick-up trucks

- Load and unload trucks with materials for jobs

- Move steel beams into a storage area after steel company has unloaded shipment from truck

- Remove, place and finish concrete

- Form and pour concrete

- Operate Case Uni-loader

- Grade around foundations with topsoil

- Tuckpoint cracks with mortar

- Install sump pumps and drain systems

- Operate electric jackhammer and drills

- Brace foundation walls with steel beams

- Aid and installing basement windows

- Aid and assist in setting jacks

- Leveling a house as much as possible and practical and setting adjustable columns

- Cleaning out cracks in poured concrete basement walls to prepare for applying epoxy or urethane injection

- Occasional tear out of finished material on basement walls

- Sister joist repair to strengthen joists 

 - Clean-up job site before leaving it
