Program Coordinator - College of Business – 533819

Job Summary:

Coordinates the operations, logistics and student services of the College of Business' Specialized Masters Programs.

  • Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the COB Specialized Master programs. Provides logistical support for program activities including, but not limited to, the recruitment process, information sessions, admissions, orientation, graduation, professional development seminar, class visit, open houses, networking events and industry events.
  • Provides new and current students support on the Orientation Canvas Courses. Serves as the administrator of the assigned specialized programs' social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Works with the College's Marketing and Communications department on verifying website accuracy.
  • Collaborates with various departments on student services relating to admissions, registration, financial aid, graduation, and payments.
  • Processes degree audits and graduation certifications for the Specialized Masters programs. Advises current students on information about program and University requirements for graduation.
  • Assists in identifying and implementing recruiting initiatives as well as develops and executes strategy and tactics to meet enrollment goals.
  • Promotes and conducts information sessions face-to-face and online, and then follows up with attendees throughout the application process
  • Interprets university administrative and/or fiscal policies and procedures. Provides recommendations on procedures for the unit to improve administrative and/or fiscal operation for the programs and office site.
  • Tracks and reports on applicant data.
  • Promotes and conducts information sessions face-to-face and online, and then follows up with attendees throughout the application process.
  • Manages and reconciles departmental expenses including travel and other expenses using University credit card. Submits requisitions and receives goods or services against purchase orders; creates travel authorizations, expense reports, through the University's financial system. May process contracts in accordance with University purchasing guidelines.
  • Counsels and advises prospective, current students and alumni on information, procedures, and admission requirements of the programs.
  • Works closely with departmental leadership to resolve student conflicts and ensure academic integrity. Determines appropriate assessments and interventions required to assist students and alumni.
  • Supports program leadership in identifying and promoting marketing, recruitment, and other initiatives.
  • Serves as a full backup for Student support. Disseminates job opportunities with current students and alumni and tracks career placements.
  • Maintains program/project records and research information and gathers and computes various data; prepares special and/or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant data from a variety of sources.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Hobsons Radius, Salesforce, Canvas, PeopleSoft, ImageNow, and LinkedIn applications.
  • Retail, sales, or related experience.

Salary: $40,000 - $44,000

Work Schedule:

Begin time: 8:30 AM
End time: 5:00 PM
