FCS Financial is looking for a dynamic individual that has the ability and desire to lead our lending, customer service, and crop insurance teams. The Chief Marketplace Officer is responsible for delivering products and related services that meet the needs of our member owners and prospective customers of FCS Financial. The incumbent is part of the Executive Leadership Team and works closely with the CEO and leadership team to execute the Association mission and business plan objectives. Expert knowledge in agricultural lending practices, financial services industry, Missouri rural and agricultural marketplace, and proven leadership ability is required.
A bachelor's degree in business, agriculture or related field; 10 years of experience in agricultural lending and marketing or closely related function; and seven years of supervisory and leadership experience is desired.
FCS Financials' Central Office located in Jefferson City is the preferred location however, all other FCS Branch locations will be considered based on the candidates' qualifications and needs.
A combination of a remote and in office work arrangements will be considered as long as the candidate lives within FCS Financials' Loan Servicing Area.
This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture or a related field
- 10 years of experience in agricultural lending and marketing
- 7 years of supervisory experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job

- Expert knowledge of current agricultural lending practices
- Expert knowledge of the financial services industry
- Expert knowledge of the Missouri rural and agricultural marketplace
- Expert knowledge of leadership principles and practices
- Working knowledge of the agricultural industry
- Working knowledge of marketing principles and practices
- Working knowledge of sales, and customer service
- Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and credit underwriting
- Working knowledge of team dynamics
- Working knowledge of FCA regulations
- Expertise in the ability to interpret and apply association policies and procedures
- Skill in selecting, managing, coaching, motivating and developing diverse teams
- Skill in developing and communicating a vision and providing direction to team members
- Expertise in oral and written communication skills, sufficient to discuss a variety of job-related topics, and to effectively communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences
- Skill in identifying key issues and relationships relevant to achieving long range goals or vision
- Skill in analyzing complex data
- Skill in balancing logic and intuition to make sound decisions in a timely manner
- Skill in negotiating complex agreements to achieve the best outcome for the organization
- Skill in using Microsoft technologies including e-mail, word and spreadsheet processing
- Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association's systems and data and clients' data
