The Erie County Office of Drug & Alcohol (D&A) has an opening for: Caseworker I
This is a career opportunity to become part of the D&A program staff.
The D&A Caseworker is a direct client care position providing a full range of case management services to individuals that have substance use disorders. The employee will be responsible for facilitating a comprehensive assessment, a recovery plan, coordinating services, monitoring progress and being an advocate for the individuals on their case load.
Starting Salary: $18.17/hour ($35,432.00 annual)
The minimum education, experience and training requirements for this position are:
A bachelor's degree in chemical dependency, sociology, social welfare or a related field, or, a bachelor's degree with 18 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology or other related social sciences, and one (1) year direct service experience performing counseling or case management work in an alcohol or drug treatment setting; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
