Packaging Technician
DuPont Nutrition & Health (formerly Danisco USA Inc) is a progressive international food
ingredients manufacturer located in the New Century Air Center near Gardner, KS. At this
time, we are currently seeking applicants for the position of Packaging Technician.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of weight scales ensuring
measuring accuracy of product. Candidates should possess and exhibit organizational
skills to properly stage batch ingredients and/or packaging materials. Ability to distinguish
product names, resource numbers, lot numbers and warehouse locations is imperative in
this position. Reading and understanding computer generated batch reports and following
packaging specifications is a large part of the requirements in this role. All candidates
must be willing to understand and follow all plant policies concerning safety/emergency,
conduct, maintenance, sanitation, HAACP/GMP and current procedures designed for the
specific department.All positions are on a 12-hour work schedule and we have openings for
both the day and night time shifts.
Successful candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
education and be at least 18 years old.Other requirements include strong verbal and written
communication skills, organizational and math skills. Basic understanding of HACCP and
GMP is a plus.
We offer an excellent benefit and salary package to qualified individuals. Basic pay starts at
