Full-time position available with the Health Department, Aim4Peace Division, 2400 Troost.

Normal Work Days/Hours: Will vary week to week. Must be flexible and able to work on-call and a rotating schedule.

As a condition of employment with the City of KCMO Health Department, all new employees will be required to submit or provide documentation of receiving an influenza (Flu) Vaccination. Develops credibility with individuals at high risk within the community. Trains and must understand the various types of traumas experienced by people who have witnessed and/or experienced violent incidents. This is professional social work of an administrative nature in the management of social service programs or community organization and service programs. The individual who fills this position must be willing to carry out work involving the responsibility for planning, organizing, and directing all operations of the Aim4Peace hospital program.

REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences and 4 years of professional experience in social service work, including 2 years at the level of Senior Social Service Worker; OR an accredited Master’s degree in social work or social sciences and 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience at the level of Senior Social Service Worker; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience.

Salary Range: $5,173-$7,759/month.
