Full-time position available with KCMO’s Health Department, Community Engagement,
Policy & Accountability Division, 2400 Troost.
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
As a condition of employment with the City of KCMO Health Department, all new employees will be required to
submit or provide documentation of receiving an influenza (Flu) Vaccination. The creative Quality Management Analyst team lead enhances and improves the health of KC. Implements program improvement plans and facilitates department reaccreditation efforts. Manages processes for Safety Net Contracts including
contracting, reviewing reports, conducting monitoring visits, and coordinating the annual audit process. Works with the Senior Information and Policy Officer to identify program strategies and efficiencies within the department for constant quality improvement. Manages the documentation process for reaccreditation and engages with internal teams to ensure submission of required documentation for defined standards and measures. Reports directly to the Senior Information and Policy Officer with some assignments from Deputy
Director. Interacts with department Executive Team, Division staff, Health Administration staff, Statistical Team,
state/federal program staff, and staff from other City Departments, including DATA KC. Interacts with vendors, external customers, and community-based organizations.
REQUIRES an accredited Master's degree in public or business administration, urban or regional planning,
economics, accounting, finance or a related field; OR an accredited Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, urban or regional planning, economics, accounting, finance or a related field and 1 year of
professional experience in public or business administration, corporate or municipal finance, budget, research, accounting or a related field. Preference given for experience with quality management, contract management, program evaluation and compliance monitoring.
Salary Range: $3,957-$6,769/month.
