Two full-time positions available with KCMO’s General Services Department, IT Division,
1101 Locust Street.
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Provides daily hardware and software support specific to the business operations and various projects. Assists customers in real-time via online message system, telephone, and remote support tools to diagnose technical issues related to PC operating systems, applications, network, servers, and peripherals. Responds in a timely manner to incident tickets for end user-related support issues regarding Microsoft Windows, business applications, and hardware problems Images and Stages new hardware specific to business operation.
Provides guidance and support for Help Desk, Associate Technicians, and Contractors. Provides excellent customer service and act as a primary contact for PC related IT projects including attending meetings as the subject matter expert. Tracks and manages PC/Laptop inventory and all associated hardware/software.
Ensures adherence to Internet security standards and procedures.
REQUIRES an accredited Associate's degree and 2 years of technology experience.; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and technology experience. Preference given for experience with enterprise imaging and deployment tools (e.g. Intune, SCCM) and 2 years working with Microsoft desktop and cloud product with demonstrated knowledge of software integration and troubleshooting.
Salary Range: $19.34-$33.88/hour
