IT Senior Analyst

Full-time position available with KCMO’s General Services Department, Information Technology Division
1101 Locust Street.

Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Analyses and resolves technical complexities and network issues and coordinating with the technology team
on designing system applications that would support business functions and customer requirements. Configures systems to boost efficiency and optimal performance, as well as upgrading network infrastructure to prevent downtimes and delays in operations. Develops network solutions and generate reports to maximize productivity and deliver high-quality outputs. Coordinates with database administrators to maintain the security of the networks, avoiding unauthorized access and suspicious activities. Performs PC lifecycle management and acts as site IT support technician. Performs PC imaging and refresh activities and interact with users to intake
current PCs. Provides updates during refresh and deliver new PCs. Creates remedy tickets and updates customers log completely for each PC refresh. Goes to customers locations to facilitate PC refreshes. Oversees
inventory control (receiving, shipping and tracking) and reporting of daily/weekly/monthly refresh counts.
Monitors and updates Help Desk incident and work order tickets and remedy within Service Level Agreements. Provides PC services including but not limited to imaging, re-core, deployment, repair, upgrade and asset management. Provides on-site support for network, server, hardware upgrades or projects at site.
Manages and reports inventory PCs, accessories, mobiles, tablets etc.

REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of technology experience; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and technology experience.

Salary Range: $4,350-$6,886/month.
