ANALYST

(CONTRACTS & VENDOR SERVICE MANAGER)

Full-time position available with the Convention & Entertainment Facilities Department, Administration Division, 301 W. 13th St.

Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Evaluates departmental vendor service agreements starting with service contract renewals, scopes of service, recognizing the terms and conditions, staying abreast of the risk management, financial, other internal documents related to each agreement, and recognizing how to maximize each vendor agreement’s performance value. Manages the list of preferred contracted vendor service suppliers. Develops a business strategy for vendor service agreements and safeguards a positive relationship with vendors throughout the terms of their agreements. Prepares and manages contracted vendor service performance for the purpose of financial operations budgeting. Conducts a range of departmental research and analysis assignments by preparing model charts, reports, and assists in the preparation of annual budget.

REQUIRES an accredited Master's degree in public or business administration, urban or regional planning, economics, accounting, finance or a related field; OR an accredited Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, urban or regional planning, economics, accounting, finance or a related field and 1 year of professional experience in public or business administration, corporate or municipal finance, budget, research, accounting or a related field. Preference given for an accredited Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration and 1 year of related experience in arena management, convention center management or tradeshow management and a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.

Salary Range: $4,619-$6,928/month.
