Full-time position available with KCMO’s Neighborhoods & Community Services Department, DataKC Division, 414 East 12th Street.
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. *Periodic telework available after initial 6-month probationary period.
Uses data collection, analysis, reporting and visualization for specific departments, as part of scope of service projects requested by departments or as part of assigned tasks for citywide data programs. Applies analysis skills to a broad range of data, including work order data, 311 data, cost data, and survey data, utilizing various quantitative, qualitative, and geospatial analysis tools. Assists managers in departments as assigned with business process review and continuous improvement activities. Manages scope of service projects requested by departments, which involves creating and managing to a project scope, timeframe, and process. Assists in OpenDataKC, as needed. Assists in performance measure creation, review, collection and reporting in coordination with the Budget Office and departments.
REQUIRES an accredited Master's degree in public or business administration, urban or regional planning, economics, accounting, finance or a related field; OR an accredited Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, urban or regional planning, economics, accounting, finance or a related field and 1 year of professional experience in public or business administration, corporate or municipal finance, budget, research, accounting or a related field.
Salary Range: $4,619-$6,928/month.
