Full-time position available with the Health Department, HIV Services Division, 2400 Troost. Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. As a condition of employment with the City of KCMO Health Department, all new employees will be required to submit or provide documentation of receiving an influenza (Flu) Vaccination.  The Fee for Service and Contract Compliance Manager is a critical member of the Kansas City Health Department’s HIV Services team.

Provides administration and oversite of the regional Ryan White Outpatient Ambulatory and Oral Health Fee for Services program. Maintains Fee for Service program administration requires budgeting, creation of policy and procedures, interacting directly with medical providers, maintaining contact lists, providing technical assistance support to providers, tracking claims, and managing referrals and encounters in the client level database. Provides administrative support to develop and manage contracts of the HIV Prevention and Care Services and the HIV Planning Council Support Program. Ensures proper and efficient execution of 50+ contracts and grant agreements per year related to HIV prevention and care services in the Kansas City region. Provides contract management duties will include drafting and processing all contracts and grant agreements, coordinating with KCHD Fiscal and Grant Management staff, maintain tracking database and filing system for all grant agreements and supporting documentation. Provides administrative support for all Requests for Applications/Proposals (RFA/RFP) including developing RFA packets and coordinating reviews. Maintains supervision of the program’s Administrative Assistant and Senior Administration Assistant. Reports to the HIV Services Manager and coordinates with the division’s program managers to create an integrated and cohesive system of care

REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree and 3 years of progressively responsible, professional experience in business or public sector administration, with at least 2 years at the level of Senior Administrative Assistant; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience, with at least 3 years at the level of Senior Administrative Assistant. Preference given for knowledge of Project Management methodologies, marketing/communications techniques, use of electronic database for tracking management activities and outcomes, the principles and practices of business or public administration, the principles and practices of office management and office equipment used and considerable knowledge of business/government contracting. Salary Range: $4,619-$6,928/month.
