Material Disposition Manager in Kansas City, MO: Develop and execute a business plan to minimize the financial impact of obsolete raw materials and warehouse goods and optimize revenue from obsolete raw materials. Focus on safety, inventory management, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction. Research market values for obsolete materials, provide cost-benefit analysis for alternate uses, and track program results. Manage order entry for sales of obsolete materials. Reduce baseline scrap write-off dollars. Grow market penetration for sale of obsolete materials. Develop and maintain system to manage obsolete materials within the existing ERP system. Manage the Supplier Sustainability Program and gather survey information for the EcoVadis platform. Manage Records Policy for the Operations department. Manage Aged Inventory Policy and Scrap Policy. Manage inventory, billing, and revenue-recognition for direct steel to fabricators program. Allocate logistics and shipping while generating new quotes in the Freight Invoicing system for the direct steel to fabricators program.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Four years of experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing roll forming or sheet metal to include:
