Lead Estimator in Kansas City, MO (Job ID #BBNA-0519): Perform civil/structural engineering analysis and oversight as well as technical advice to the estimating team with regard to pre-engineered metal buildings projects. Ensure building structural safety and integrity. Provide regional builders timely, accurate and optimal engineering quotations and pre-order assistance. Support Area Sales Managers with quotation data for final pricing. Develop value engineering alternatives for design build projects. Provide project managers, engineers, and clarifiers with post order pricing and solutions. Evaluate incoming engineering projects and submit quotes or decline project. Provide quantitative reporting of metrics such as quote activity and success measurements. Develop and oversee an effective team which includes three Estimating Engineers, two Quote Technicians, and three Engineering Technicians. Provide feedback on the hiring and termination of team members. Mentor junior engineers and designers.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or related field.

5 years of pre-engineered building experience in estimating or sales to include:

· Material and engineering cost quoting;
· Customer drawings, specifications and project narratives;
· Pre-engineered building software and brand process;
· Pricing and design/material reports, input reports;
· Internal pricing systems, quote log, buyout pricing sheets, scopes of work; and
· Project management of pre-engineered buildings systems.

PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional registration.
