Applications Systems Analyst - Specialist (BlueCross BlueShield of TN, Chattanooga, TN):
Requires Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent years of experience; three (3) years experience with systems analysis and programming; strong understanding of IBM middleware technologies used in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) including IBM DataPower, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM WebSphere Message Broker (WMB), IBM WebSphere MQ; three (3) years experience working with IBM DataPower development, testing, and troubleshooting specific to DataPower rules and security policies; demonstrated experience with XSLT coding; working knowledge of IBM DataPower security policies and their implementations including certificate management, SSL, WS-Security, OAuth 2.0, SAML; proficient in web service development for both SOAP and REST interfaces; experience with message transformation techniques; knowledge of information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology and standards; working understanding of software development methodologies including Scrum, Waterfall, Agile; working knowledge of at least one of the following: Java, C#, or .NET; demonstrated ability to lead, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and associated resources; demonstrated ability to interpret and translate technical and/or complex concepts into information meaningful to team members and/or business personnel; excellent communication skills in technical and non-technical forums; ability to create meaningful design documentation; proven analysis, design, and coding skills, and demonstrated success in leading medium to complex technology-based efforts. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, will accept one year of technical experience for each year of requested college education in addition to the experience requirements listed above.
