BLI is seeking a full-time Assistant Operations Manager, who will be teaming with the Director of Operations Management, to oversee the daily operations of the contact center. Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Oversee development of department managers and assist the Director of Operations Management in ensuring their performance. - Oversee development of productive, profitable and performance oriented working environment for employees. - Address operational issues to ensure maximum productivity of the contact center. - Develop and maintain operational guidelines for staff. - Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities. - Analyze staffing requirements, work assignment and schedules. - Generate operational reports for management. - Evaluate current operational strategies and recommend improvements. - Oversee ongoing development of Operation's supervisors, managers and other operations staff as needed. - Be a Core Values ambassador for all of Operations. Display and command excellent representation of BLI's values by Operation's staff in serving our customers and interaction with each other. Skills & Abilities Required: - Excellent leadership skills. - Ability to remain calm under pressure. - Ability to complete tasks and projects by deadlines. - Strong organizer, always looking ahead for ways to improve the organization. - Ability to develop people and is driven to ensure their success. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong collaboration/cooperation skills. - Ability to train other staff. - Willingness and capacity to grow and learn. - Proactive leadership with a teamwork attitude. Experience & Qualifications: - University degree in a related subject preferred, but not required. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading a team and/or in a related field. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
