Responsibilities
The Office Manager for the College of Science and Health ensures that the essential functions of the college are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner by providing direct administrative and clerical support for the Dean, full-time faculty, and adjunct faculty for various undergraduate courses in the College. This position provides support for departmental initiatives and events and also serves as the initial point of contact in the College for students, current, past and future in addition to the public.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include: Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience in an administrative office environment. Ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, customer service, and professional skills; have accurate data entry and advanced-level Microsoft Office skills; and be able to work independently and show initiative. Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment required. Must demonstrate a genuine interest in welcoming, working with, and helping others. Baccalaureate Degree with prior experience in a University/College preferred.
