Responsibilities |
Job Description: The Community Engagement Coordinator works with the Deans, faculty in the College of Professional Studies, other faculty and additional campus constituents needed to develop meaningful relationships with external partners in support of new and existing programs at Avila University. Resources include advisory board members, mentors, speakers, program partners, internship sites and other similar types of volunteer leadership from the Kansas City community. The position also works directly with the Office of Advancement to assist with community collaboration and the identification of opportunities for support of the Avila Promise, the strategic plan and mission.

Qualifications |
Position Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s Degree in an academic field is preferred. At minimum of five years experience working in a non-profit organization, community Chamber of Commerce, higher education institution or other organization in a community engagement position. |
