Job Summary:

Responsible for developing human machine interfaces (HMIs) for building automation systems using high level languages running on embedded and desktop computer systems by performing the following duties.

Education and Experience Requirements: Degree(s):

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Computer Science or Software Engineering: or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.

Equipment or Software Knowledge or Skills: Microsoft Office C, C# Java Visual C and Visual Basic (for maintenance) SVN (version control) Various design software required for HMI

HVAC Applications Engineer (Parkville, MO)

Job Summary:

The AAON Sales Controls Support Applications Engineer interfaces with our independent manufacturer’s representatives, as well as consulting engineers, and mechanical contractors to provide controls applications recommendations and answer application questions. This includes analyzing job controls specifications to determine how AAON controls solutions can meet customer-specific requirements.

Responsibilities also include providing advanced controls troubleshooting assistance and being involved in controls training - both of which may require occasional travel. The Applications Engineer also does in-house controls testing to assist the Controls Engineering Department during product development.
